How to use Amla for Beautiful and Healthy Hair

 What is an Amla?



Amla an inexpensive fruit is also known as Indian gooseberry,. They are small sour yellow-green berries super fruit because it has innumerable magical health benefits.
 scientifically known as Phyllanthus emblica or Phyllanthus emblica, is native to the Indian subcontinent.
 It grows on small to medium size trees these trees are found in India, and amla trees are also cultivated in countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Australia, China, Uzbekistan, and Malaysia.
Amla is classified as a "Rasayana" in Ayurveda, which indicates a renewing plant or substance that can assist enhance lifespan and vitality. 
Our ancestors used this for their amazing skin, hair, joint pain, diabetes, memory loss, and low energy and to improve the immune system. 
Although its acidic flavor may not appeal to everyone, amla can be taken fresh. As a result, it is also processed into various forms such as amla powder, amla juice, amla candies, and amla supplements, making it easier to consume and apply in various health and beauty routines.

If you live in countries where amla grows in season from October to March then you are blessed but don't worry if you can not find fresh amla you can use it in dry form because it contains Tannins a class of polyphenolic compounds that are naturally present in various plants, including amla. These tannins play a significant role in the health benefits associated with amla consumption. 

Tannins in amla have potent antioxidant properties. They can neutralize harmful free radicals in the body. 

 Tannins may have beneficial effects on cardiovascular health. Research suggests that these compounds can help reduce LDL cholesterol levels (the "bad" cholesterol) while increasing HDL cholesterol levels (the "good" cholesterol). By promoting a healthier lipid profile, amla tannins may contribute to better heart health and reduce the risk of heart disease.

2. Homemade Amla Oil Massage

  Ingredients that you will need:

200 gram fresh Amla 

1 cup fresh Curry leaves

Coconut oil

Method:  Cut amla into small pieces

add 1 cup of fresh curry leaves and coconut oil in small quantities. Grind them in a mixer grinder to form a fine paste. Now put this paste into a heavy bottom pan and add the remaining coconut oil. Stir the paste on low flame until it turns brown. Now the oil is ready to use. You can store this oil for 3-4 months easily.

Apply this oil on your hair every day by following some steps:

Step-1  Warm the oil by using the double boiling method and allow to warm up the oil for 1-2 minutes before application.

Step-2  Detangle your hair from front ends to roots using a wide tooth comb and once you are done carefully bring the oil and then split your hair into 2 sections.

Step-3  Apply a lit bit of amla oil on the fiscal first so all you are gonna do is to grab a small amount of oil with your fingertips and then just run your fingers through your scalp to spread the oil around.

Step-4   Application of remains of amla oil on your entire hair so put some oil into the palm of your hand and rub your hands a little bit then in a small section warm it into your hair front row to end until there is no more oil left.

Step-5   Set the time for 5 minutes for scalp massage which is an absolutely important step to follow so you can try the inverted method.

Step-6  Keep your hair in protective style the entire whole night or for 4-5 hours and then wash your hair with a mild shampoo.

Amla Powder Hair Mask

3 Tablespoon Amla powder

1 Tablespoon Castor oil
2 Tablespoon Curd
3-4 Drops of rosemary oil
Mix amla powder with curd, castor oil and add some water to make a fine paste. Also, add 2-3 drops of rosemary oil to stimulate hair growth. Apply this mask on the scalp along the hair strands. Leave for 1 hour and wash the hair with a mild shampoo. Amla is a powerful inhibitor of alpha-5 reductase and a super-powered antioxidant packed with vitamin C.

Amla Hair Rinse

You will need

1 tablespoon dried amla pieces or 

1 tablespoon amla powder

1 and a half cups water 

 Boil dried amla pieces in water to make amla-infused water. You can also use amla powder to make this hair rinse. You can also soak this dried amla or 

amla powder overnight and it's ready to use. Strain it before using it. After shampooing pour this hair rinse on your scalp and massage it. Let it set for 5 minutes and then rinse your hair with clean water.
